Comments on the measurements:

We have made some comparative measurements between a conventional speaker and the Heolo, to better understand the "genetic" differences between the two solutions, the result is shown in the two graphics / video below.

What is immediately evident is that the frequency response of the upper part of the spectrum becomes progressively less and less regular varying the  listening angle , while on the contrary, Heolo maintain a nearly linear frequency response.

The consequence of such behavior is easily perceptible , because as the angle there is loss of detail and focus and above all, a drastic loss of efficiency in the region of medium-high.

The practical consequence is that to obtain an optimal listening position, the listener should sit right on top of a triangle that ideally connects the two speakers and the listener. In some cases, this triangle is even more restricted because the border between the position of the tweeter and the head / ears of the listener.

Opposite is the Heolo's behavior where varying  the listening angle , the frequency response is stabilized showing no holes or bumps.

There is no privileged position, but it becomes possible to perceive the details and the position of instruments and voices on stage ideal, though you are sitting outside the triangle center listening.

Rather than listening triangle could speak of "listening sphere".
